Shopping Spree!

Hi Everyone! I am in such a good mood today I went shopping and splurged last night! I have been in a good mood since Friday when I GOT OFFERED A JOB. Well, it’s not really a new job or a real job offer, but the company that I’m interning with offered me the opportunity to stay on during my senior year. They need someone to continue doing what I am doing and it makes sense for me to keep doing it part time while I am at school. I am super excited and beyond thankful for this opportunity.  I blame this exciting news for my shopping splurge.

Okay, so by now you’re all wondering WHAT I actually bought. Here’s a picture of my haul:

I got these great leggings from Ralph Lauren that I have been wanting for a really long time now. I wear a ton of black leggings during the school year, but the khaki is really nice for a change and the brown accents add a little something.

I got these pants in my new color: burgandy, from Banana Republic Factory. As much as I wanted to get the Jcrew Winnie pants in the same color, the ones from Banana fit me so much better and they were cheaper too!

I also got this sweater on amazing sale at Banana. It was 50% off $35!

From Jcrew I got this great vest. I wear my navy one literally every 2 days, and I know I will get a ton of use out of this one!

NOW FOR THE HOLY GRAIL!

I wandered into the Kate Spade Outlet store, not looking to buy, but it’s just my routine. I go in, look at the jewelry first, try on the bangles that are always too big for me. I look at the small handbags and tell myself I need a big bag to carry my computer ( computer science nerd problems). Then, I look at the wallets and remind myself how much I am in love with my Tory Burch one. Finally I look at the clothes which I try to tell myself I don’t really like anyway. Then comes the hard part. I walk past the large handbags telling myself I don’t need one, that my Longchamp does everything I need it to and goes perfectly with EVERYTHING. Then I saw this:

 Right in front was this gorgeous pink computer/work bag. I have casually been shopping for a replacement for my longchamp because its over 3 years old and starting to show signs of wear. I didn’t know what I was looking for until I saw it. It was perfect. I grabbed it, walked up to the counter and was out of there in 7 mins flat.

I am in LOVE.
